RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a technology that allows users to access updates to websites in a standard approach. It is commonly used throughout the internet, most notably as the primary backend of publishing podcasts.

With RSS feeds I do not store any data of yours, you do not need an account and you can choose when you would like to receive updates in a manner that you control. All you need to get started is an app/program that downloads and analyses the feed published on this website.

The RSS feed will allow you to browse recent reviews. It does not enable commenting or you to go through the deeper backlog (go to the normal website for this). RSS is mainly used to keep you abreast of new reviews.

See below for recommended apps/programs in several different devices.

Apple (iPhone or iPad)

  1. Install the NetNewsWire app to your Apple device
  2. Click on the +, Add Feed and add the Project DISCard RSS Feed – https://projectdiscard.aerowalsh.com?feed=rss2
  3. If you would like to get notifications when new reviews are published, tap and hold on Project DISCard, tap Get Info, then turn on the Notify about New Articles option.
  4. After you open an article you may find a short sentence only. Tap on the Page icon in the bottom to open the full review. You can make this permanent by: tap and hold on Project DISCard, tap Get Info, then turn on the Always Use Reader View option
  5. To delete the other default feeds, click and hold them and then click Delete. You need to do this for each other feed, but only once.

Android

  1. Install the Feeder app to your Android device
  2. Click on the 3 dots, Add Feed and add the Project DISCard RSS Feed – https://www.aerowalsh.com/projectdiscard?feed=rss2
  3. If you would like to get notifications when new reviews are published, click on the three dots, go to Settings and turn on the Notify for New Items option
  4. After you open an article you may find a short sentence only. Tap on the Page icon in the top to open the full review.
