Inoffensive background music. There are no standout tracks or memorable listens.
But the whole album is a relaxing listen at any stage of the day. Works well when cooking dinner after work or reading a book on a foggy afternoon.
Declaring this a Keep because it’s easy to imagine its use as a filler CD in different scenarios.
Also, Georgina Dixon used to like the Paper Kites and we saw them live a few times together so that adds a nice nostalgic layer.
I liked that the band made you feel nostalgic because you have placed the cd on an old pay phone which just adds another layer of nostalgia
Was surprised to see this as a keep when it read as background music
That’s right, nothing special but it did what it did well enough. It was quite comforting to listen through. I’d describe it as cozy.
